About

Castledare Miniature Railways operate on the 1st Sunday of each month from Niana Station except January. Castledare Place Wilson 11AM - 3:00PM and from Wilson Park Station Kent St. Wilson (Kent St. Weir) on the 3rd Sunday of each month 10AM - 2PM.

Entry to the grounds and use of the facilities is free. Access to the trains is by the walk way and stations. All other access is restricted on running days.

Tours of the Loco sheds and work shops can be arranged by contacting the secretary (see the contact page).

 

 

 

Safety

For your safety and comfort of others.

Enclosed foot wear must be worn while riding all trains.

Please remain seated with your hands, feet and other body parts inside the carriage at all times throughout your journey. Please do not lean out or rock the train. Please follow the instructions of station staff, drivers, guards and officials of the railway.

Please confine your activities to the car park, picnic grounds, walk ways and stations. All other access is restricted on running days.
